Macarena Rose is a respected real estate professional in Belize and the founder of Keller Williams Belize: Team Macarena. Her story began when she first visited Belize to teach a class at Cahal Pech Resort and immediately felt called to make San Ignacio her home. During her own property search, she encountered unethical practices such as “Net Listings,” where the same property was shown to her at multiple prices simply because she was a foreign buyer. That experience inspired her to help others avoid the same challenges and led her to begin her work as a trusted advocate for buyers in Belize.

Determined to raise the standard of real estate in the country, Macarena reached out to the National Association of Realtors in Chicago and signed a bilateral agreement in 2006 that provided an opportunity to raise their professionalism in Belize. Through her International Buyers Consultancy program, Macarena provides clients with access to vetted professionals in banking, tax, legal services, and relocation support, ensuring a safe and confident transition into their new Belize lifestyle.
